Pentingnya keterlibatan dalam organisasi bagi mahasiswa baru menjadi latar belakang kegiatan pengabdian ini, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa baru FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura dalam berorganisasi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 28 mahasiswa baru dan dilaksanakan melalui ceramah interaktif yang mencakup materi mengenai pentingnya berorganisasi, cara memilih organisasi yang tepat, serta manajemen waktu dalam berorganisasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memperoleh peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan dalam ketiga aspek tersebut, serta peningkatan rasa percaya diri dan keterampilan interpersonal. Kegiatan ini juga berhasil mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa baru dalam menghadapi kehidupan kampus.
