Efektivitas Workshop Komunikasi Efektif dalam Meningkatkan Kepercayaan Diri Mahasiswa saat Berbicara di Depan Umum

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kemampuan komunikasi efektif mahasiswa dalam berbicara di depan umum serta mengevaluasi dampak workshop komunikasi efektif terhadap keterampilan tersebut. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest, penelitian ini melibatkan 49 mahasiswa PG-PAUD Universitas Tanjungpura. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert dan dianalisis dengan paired sample t-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa setelah workshop, terutama dalam kenyamanan berbicara di depan kelas (dari 44,9% menjadi 92,3%) dan kepercayaan diri (dari 30,6% menjadi 69,2%). Namun, aspek kepercayaan diri masih memerlukan penguatan lebih lanjut. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya intervensi tambahan untuk membantu mahasiswa mengatasi kecemasan berbicara di depan umum.
