Financial Technology (FinTech) has transformed the way individuals access financial services and develop financial knowledge and decision-making skills. However, financial literacy levels remain relatively low in many countries, highlighting the need for innovative and technology-driven learning approaches. This study examines research trends on the use of FinTech as a medium for financial literacy education, identifies the types of FinTech employed, and explores their benefits and implementation challenges. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Articles were collected from the Scopus database and selected through identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion stages. The findings reveal a substantial increase in publications between 2022 and 2026, with the highest output recorded in 2025. Commonly utilized FinTech tools include digital payment systems, mobile banking, e-wallets, investment platforms, personal finance applications, artificial intelligence-based learning tools, and gamified learning environments. Overall, FinTech enhances financial literacy, encourages positive financial behavior, promotes financial inclusion, and supports financial well-being. Nevertheless, its effectiveness depends on digital literacy, technological accessibility, data security, and user readiness
