CODEX: Jurnal Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi
CODEX is a peer-reviewed journal published by Yazri Aksara Nusantara, issued twice a year (May and November). The journal publishes original research articles and scientific studies in the fields of library science, information science, and archival studies. Contributions are welcomed from academics, practitioners, students, and stakeholders.
Articles may be written in Indonesian or English. Manuscripts should be between 6 to 12 pages in length (not exceeding 6,000 words), excluding references and appendices, formatted on A4-sized paper, with margins: top and bottom 2.5 cm, left 3.5 cm, and right 2.5 cm. Use Book Antiqua, size 12 pt, with 1.15 line spacing throughout the text.
The article title must be written in Book Antiqua, size 14 pt, bold, centered, capitalizing each word, and not exceeding 20 words.
Authors’ full names must be listed, along with institutional affiliations (department, university, country) and a valid corresponding email address.
Abstracts should be maximum 180 words, written in single-spaced, Book Antiqua, 11 pt, italic font.
For articles in Indonesian, the abstract must be provided in both Indonesian and English. For articles in English, the abstract must be in English only.
The abstract must include: research significance, method, key findings, and conclusion, written in a single paragraph and single-column format.
Include 3–5 keywords, also in Book Antiqua, size 11 pt, separated by commas.
Explain the background of the study, identify the research problem, and clarify the research objectives or hypotheses.
Include a relevant literature review that shows the research gap and situates the study in the context of existing research.
References must be published within the last ten years.
Describe the subjects/respondents, research design, procedures, and instruments used.
Include details about data collection and analysis techniques, research location, time, and duration.
This section should provide a comprehensive explanation of how the research was conducted from start to finish.
Present research findings in a clear and systematic manner using tables, graphs, or descriptive text.
Every table or figure must be centered, numbered (e.g., Figure 1, Figure 2), and clearly referenced in the text.
Place figure titles below the image, centered, with a 1 pt border. Multiple images under one title are recommended to be grouped in a table.
Results must be presented objectively, without interpretation.
In the discussion, analyze the findings in relation to theories and prior studies, highlight their contribution to education, and offer practical implications.
Discuss inconsistencies with initial hypotheses and possible explanations.
Scientific findings should answer key questions such as: What are the findings? Why did they occur? What trends are observed?
Summarize the key findings and relate them to the research objectives.
Avoid introducing new information.
May include recommendations for further research or policy implications.
Primarily directed to funders or donors.
May also acknowledge individuals or institutions that supported the research process.
In-text citations follow APA Style 7th Edition.

Multiple sources: (Arina, 2010; Fahmi, 2009; Kusdinar et al., 2010; Sumargiyani & Widayati, 2011)
Reference list must:
Be arranged alphabetically
Include only primary sources (books, journals)
Follow APA 7th Edition
Include only literature published in the last 10 years
Use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero
