Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that have not been published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submitted manuscripts must be relevant to the focus and scope of Nagri Pustaka: Jurnal Pendidikan, Ilmu Sejarah, dan Budaya. Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts according to the journal template. The article template can be downloaded here.

Manuscript Preparation

  • The manuscript title must be written in English and should not exceed 16 words.
  • Manuscripts may be written in either Indonesian or English.
  • Abstracts must be provided in both English and Indonesian, consisting of 150–200 words in a single paragraph.
  • Authors should provide 3–5 keywords representing the main concepts of the manuscript.
  • Manuscripts should follow the IMRAD structure:
    • Introduction
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Discussion
    • Conclusion
    • References

Introduction

The introduction should explain the background of the study, identify the research gap, present relevant and recent literature, establish the position of the study within existing scholarship, and clearly state the research objectives and significance.

Methods

The methods section should describe the research design, participants or research subjects, data collection procedures, research instruments, and data analysis techniques. Qualitative studies should additionally explain the research setting, informants, duration of the study, and procedures used to ensure data trustworthiness and validity.

Results

The results section should present research findings systematically and objectively based on analyzed data. Tables, figures, graphs, and quotations may be included where appropriate. Interpretation of findings should not be presented in this section.

Discussion

The discussion should critically interpret the findings by relating them to relevant theories and previous studies. Authors are expected to explain the significance, implications, contributions, limitations, and recommendations arising from the study.

Conclusion

The conclusion should concisely summarize the main findings, answer the research objectives, and highlight the contribution of the study. No new information or data should be introduced in this section.

References

References must follow the APA 7th Edition citation style and include only sources cited in the manuscript. Authors are required to provide a minimum of 15 references, preferably from relevant scholarly publications published within the last ten years. The use of reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote is strongly encouraged.

Submission and Review Process

All manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening, plagiarism checking, and a double-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts that do not conform to the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, or publication ethics may be returned to the authors before the review process.

Publication Ethics

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their manuscripts and compliance with accepted standards of publication ethics. Any conflicts of interest, funding information, or ethical approvals relevant to the study should be disclosed where applicable.
