Focus and Scope

Jurnal Pendidikan Sosial Indonesia (JUPSI) is committed to serving as an academic platform for the publication of high-quality scholarly works in the field of Social Sciences Education. Jurnal Pendidikan Sosial Indonesia (JUPSI) primarily aims to support the advancement of knowledge and educational practice within the broader domain of Social Sciences through interdisciplinary approaches. We welcome contributions relevant to the following areas of study:

Social Studies Education
Research on innovative approaches, methods, and models in Social Studies instruction, the integration of technology in Social Studies teaching, as well as curriculum and instructional material development that addresses global educational challenges.

Economic Education
Studies focusing on economic pedagogy, the development of economic literacy at the school level, and the application of economic education to strengthen life skills in the era of globalization.

Sociology Education
Analyses related to the teaching of sociology that engage with contemporary social issues, multicultural education, and strategies for enhancing social awareness through educational practices.

Civics and Pancasila Education
Research on the development of national character, the reinforcement of democratic values in classrooms, and innovative approaches to fostering constitutional awareness through civic education.

History Education
Investigations into strategies, methods, and innovations in history teaching, the integration of digital technologies in history education, and historiographical studies relevant to historical instruction.

In addition, Jurnal Pendidikan Sosial Indonesia (JUPSI) welcomes interdisciplinary articles that are relevant to Social Sciences, including the integration of social education in STEAM-based instruction, digital literacy in social learning, and critical studies on social education policies at the local, national, and global levels.
