Dampak Kehadiran TV Kabel terhadap Perubahan Pola Pendidikan Keluarga

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak kehadiran televisi kabel terhadap perubahan pola pendidikan keluarga di Desa Surabaya, Kecamatan Sakra Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa televisi kabel mempengaruhi interaksi sosial dalam keluarga, menggeser pola pendidikan dari interaksi langsung menuju ketergantungan pada media. Meskipun memberikan akses pada informasi global yang memperkaya wawasan, televisi kabel juga menurunkan frekuensi komunikasi antaranggota keluarga dan menimbulkan kekhawatiran terhadap pengaruh konten yang tidak sesuai dengan nilai budaya lokal. Kesimpulannya, orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam mengelola penggunaan televisi kabel agar tetap bermanfaat tanpa merusak nilai-nilai tradisional keluarga.
